Die Tochter einer guten Freundin haette Interesse daran fuer den Sommer 2010 als Au Pair nach den USA fuer 1 bis 2 Monate zu kommen. Ihr Name ist Gwendoline und sie ist dann 16 Jahre alt. SIe lebt in Österreich, Wien, ist aber halb Franzoesin und spricht daher auch perfekt franzoesisch und ist auch sehr gut mit Kindern.
Wer Interesse daran haette sie als Au Pair zu nehmen, bitte e-mailed ihrer Mutter Angelika Unterkircher :

The daughter of a good friend would like to spending 1 to 2 month as au pair in the states, in the summer of 2010. Her name is Gwendoline and she will be 16 then. She lives with her mother in Austria, Vienna, but since she is half french she also is fluent in french and very good with kids.

Hello! I am looking for German lessons for my 3 year old as well as my husband and I. We are relocating to Lucerne, Switzerland in the summer and would love to get my son , first and foremost, familiar with the language. Any information would be helpful! Has anyone also done any work with the Muzzy German Level 1? Thank you .

Muzzy German; children's websites that teach reading (in German)

Hi, I am also interested in hearing opinions/experiences with Muzzy German (either level 1 or level 2). My older daughter is 7 and reads English very well. She has passive fluency in German, but she stopped speaking it 2 years ago. (I speak German, and she replies in English.)
We can't commit to a semester's worth of Saturday morning lessons. She would interested in interactive computer games (or websites) that would teach her to read in German. Does anyone know of any German-languages websites that are similar to www.starfall.org (an excellent website for kids to learn to read in English) ?
Alternatively, does anyone have any Muzzy products they would like to sell?

does anyone has some german children DVD i can borrow (B-Bluemchen, Wickie, Biene Maja, sonstiges). I have a compatible DVD player.
Hat jemand ein paar DVD's die ich leihen koennte?

We live in apex area and attend pre-school M-F till 12:30, would like to know about playdates or other activities if anyone else is interested.
New aupair to join our family is German and is WONDERFUL! I am looking to make friends for her to join in some Germa community. thanks!
